My Story:
Holy crap they did it! I have been waiting for this day for so long! It is freaking awesome to be able to finally bring more than enough to the party! The days of running out of coffee in the blind or not having enough room in my growler for my favorite hard to come by beer are over. YETI has a knack for seeing a problem and finding a solution and for that I am very thankful. I freaking love this JUG!
Yes this is just an insulated container similar to a thermos. Yes it is like the others in that it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold, it just does it better! I mentioned above that YETI has a knack for seeing a problem and finding a solution and that is never more evident in the addition of their magnetic lid or MAGCAP DOCK. This is one of the best ideas I have seen in the world of jugs, mugs, and bottles in a long time. I really like this addition and find it to be extremely useful.
The handle makes for an easy pour and also helps lug around a whole gallon of whatever you got. I meant you need a stout handle to haul a gallon of anything out to the field.
You might be thinking that a gallon is just to darn much of anything. Well lucky for you YETI and IRG.C has you covered. I am not a stranger to the Rambler Bottles as I have a Rambler 64 which I previously reviewed here http://ireviewgear.com/cool-gear/yeti-rambler-64-oz-drink-bottle-review/ As I’m sure you can see I really liked it as well. The YETI Rambler Gallon Jug is everything I loved about the 64 but more!
I know there is a bunch of hype out there and there are plenty of skeptics of YETI but I have to tell you that this product does not deserve anything but positive attention. This Jug just flat out does what it says it will do and it does it well. I really just feel like YETI hit a homerun with this thing.
What can be done better?
I cannot find anything that I would like to change with this great product.
I give this Jug 5 sold stars as it simply works.
