The Story
The hike today was fun, and filled with the spotting of many Deer. I only saw 2 bucks and both were small.
All of the gear I wore today performed very well.I felt warm, but not hot.
The top performer of the day for me, was the Crispi Boots. They kept my feet very warm, and very comfortable. I was able to navigate the STEEP slopes very well.
I was also very impressed again, with the Vortex Spotting Scope. It is a great scope.

I really like the comfort of the First Lite pants, but they need to do a few things fast!
1: Fix the pockets, the fronts are way to shallow, and the lining is always hanging out the top.
2: The back pockets are also slightly too shallow.
3: Get the knee expansion pockets lifted higher, in the current location it does not flex properly.

More soon.
