Marmot Limelight 2 and 3 person tent review
Would I recommend to friend YES!!
Pros:
Roomy for 2 or 3 man tents
Great vestibule easily fits packs and boots under it
Easy set up! fast fast fast
Weather proof
Low price for what you get
Cons:
Little on the heavy side, not much but a little
Story:
The tents were used on a pack in hunting trip. The weather was fantastic, near 100 degrees every day. We did encure some high winds and a little rain. The tents held up great to the heat, sand and wind.
The 2 man slept myself and my hunting partner very well. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 190, he is 6’2″ and weighs 190. We were shoulder to shoulder, but what 2 man tent gives you more than that. We were able to keep our gear outside under the vestibule, which is a good size and fit 2 full packs under it.
The 3 man was fantastic for 2 people, and ok for 3 small people.
This is for sure a 3 season tent. I would not feel comfortable using this in snow fall over 4 inches.
We did notice that the finer sand found its way inside of the tent through the mesh. This can be expected of 3 season tents that do not have a full rain fly to the ground.
We stayed dry, we were comfortable and it held up to the wind, what more can you ask??
What they could do better:
Little bigger vestibule, but this was adequate.
