Alaskan Guide Creations Binocular Pouch Review
Basic Description of Item:
Binocular case / harness great for carrying large to extra large binoculars in the field.
The Story:
I purchased this binocular pack directly from Jaret Owens. He is very good to work with and communicates with his customers. He has several different models available for purchase from his website for all sizes of binoculars. I chose the regular size as I have the Swarovski 10×42 SLC model. I received the Pack about a week after placing my order. The pack is very well made, Jaret includes a piece of paracord to attach your binoculars with.
There is no attachment points for the binoculars to the pack itself. The pack is very easy to adjust and comfortable to wear. There are multiple different zippers. There is a front zipper for a rangefinder behind the rangefinder there is a spot for more rounds of ammunition. One zipper is located on each side of case for other items, on the back is a large zippered pocket. My rangefinder fits very snug but well in the front pocket, in the back pocket I have a pen, paper, and tag information. I would have thought this would stick through and bug me while wearing the pack but I don’t notice it. The binocular cover snaps shut with a buckle and fully protects the glass while in the pouch. I did make my own harness or strap for my binoculars to attach them. I have attached pictures of this. Overall this product has met my needs, the price for my binocular pack was $80 plus shipping and handling.

Jaret is the man. I just tested out the Large with my Leica HD-B and the pack felt great even with a heavy pack on. Hands down the best bino holder on the market.
