Who does not love a good backyard game? I know that I have logged more hours than I care to admit playing some really fun and exciting games. I was so freaking excited when I gazed upon the Outside Inside Freestyle Chicken Disk Game as it resembled another game that we call Beers-Bee. For obvious reasons the game I knew (Beers-Bee) was not really a game for kids but the Chicken Disk Game was absolutely family oriented and I was excited to test it out. The main idea is to use the disk to knock the chicken off the pole. Seems easy enough right?
Our first testing area was at my mother’s cabin in north central Washington. My children typically go up there for a couple weeks each summer and hang out with their cousins. It was a great place to get a game into the hands of some kids and grandparents that need entertainment. The reports came back that it was a huge hit!
My family goes to the Oregon Coast every summer for vacation. It was a promise I made to myself that I would take my kids to the ocean at least once a year. In flush years we have rented houses and other times a motel room. This year we decided to haul our travel trailer. I knew we would be looking to spend some serious time on the beach as quarters would be tight. Luckily I had just the game to keep us there.
My family and I had an absolute blast playing this game. We had several people ask about it and without fail every person that saw it or played it left with a smile.
This is truly a fantastic backyard game that does require a bit of skill. My family all enjoy the challenge and I see many more hours of excitement coming from this great game.

What can be done better?
The poles can be a bit of a bear to assemble at times but it was nothing a little bit of wiggling can’t fix. It does feel a bit flimsy but it stood against a barrage of hard thrown discs and never faltered. Plain and simple, it just works.
It’s a game that is fun and simple so I simply must give it 5 stars.
