Innerloc Broadheads Review USER SUBMITTED
Editor: Eric Nance
Basic Description of Item:
Innerloc Broadheads make fixed blade broadheads and mechanical broadheads.
Just the Facts:
Their broadheads range from 65g to 145g.
Innerloc uses angle iron for the blades instead of steel, this makes the blades alot more flexible and less likely to break.
Story:
I have shot Innerloc broadheads (the fixed blade 100g) for the past 3 years. I have no real complaints about them. I hit my deer last year in the top of the back, in the spine. When I was cleaning the deer I found my broadhead that had made it through vertebrae and was poking out the other side. The blades were still intact and the broadhead looked good. My arrow broke-off completely.
What they could do better:
My one concern about these broadheads is the assembly. You have to assemble the blades yourself and the tip screws them all together. I have found that after each shot on the range or in the field you need to just twist that tip and make sure everything is still snug, once in a while that tip un-tightens. This even happened to me once in the field after a long hike and I knocked an arrow I had to just give a half a turn to that tip to make sure the blades were tight. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.
